Hibernal 2025 selection of grapes, white semi-dry
Semi-dry white quality wine with attribute "selection of grapes" from the village of Čejkovice, Noviny vineyard. Alcohol 12.5 %, residual sugar 9.5 g/l. Volume 0.75 l.
Product detailed description
Hibernal is a German variety bred in 1944 by crossing Riesling — and its name comes from the Latin "hiberna", meaning winter, because it withstands frost remarkably well. In the glass this shows as a character close to Riesling with delicate Sauvignon notes: blackcurrant, gooseberry, pineapple, peach and grapefruit, with a full and typically spicy palate.
The 2025 vintage comes from the Velké Pavlovice sub-region, the wine village of Čejkovice and the Noviny vineyard. It is classified as semi-dry, so it will also appeal to anyone who does not seek out dry wines.
